Allegany
High School has one of the oldest and most
respected band programs in the state of Maryland.
The school is located in Cumberland, Maryland, the center of activity
in the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland.
The
Allegany High School Band Program and all associated perfroming
groups, will strive to perform at the highest possible level
at all times. The highest priority will be the setting of goals
consistent with aesthetic education and artistry. The band will
represent Allegany High School, the city of Cumberland, and
the state of Maryland as a goodwill ambassador, and will strive
to be first-class in all its endeavors.
