The Preview of Champions Competition Results
A Great Night of Musical Entertainment

The Preview of Champions, an annual high school marching band show and competition sponsored by the Allegany Band Boosters, was held on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Greenway Avenue Stadium, Cumberland, Maryland. This annual event was sanctioned by the Tournament of Bands (TOB). The TOB is one of the largest competitive band organizations in the country and currently has over 400 active schools encompassing nine states (www.tob.org/).

Thirteen high school marching bands from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia participated in the 8th Preview of Champions. The bands are classified by the number of student performers involved with Group I being the smallest and Group IV being the largest. The bands compete within the appropriate group.
